Supervision
I offer a range of supervision services. These are flexible to meet the needs of each therapist. Supervision can be regular, or it can be more ad-hoc. Sometimes a supervisee would like a one off session to explore a particular clinical area or questions, for others we meet regularly to reflect across a wide range of areas of clinical practice.
Supervision has to be compassionate, collaborative and creative. As each therapist is individual, bringing their own experience, knowledge and set of values the approaches we explore and discuss vary too.
Supervision to me is about creating safe spaces to explore and grow skills. It is an honour to be someone's supervisor and a role I take very seriously. I enjoy learning about supervision models, honing and reflecting on my skills and taking on feedback from my supervisees.
Supervision
These wiggly fidget tools are like my supervision. They offer flexibility, can bend and twist, as supervision can often take unexpected turns. I work flexibly to meet the needs of each individual supervisee. They also stretch. Supervision does require space to stretch yourself, your thinking, your skills and growth. I like to think they also represent fun, supervision should offer space for a smile, a giggle. It should leave you feeling hopeful, rested and restored.
